Coluzzle Cutting System - Product Review
I love paper crafts - I scrapbook, I make cards, I make homemade envelopes. As a paper-crafter, a scrapbooker and a mom - I want easy to use crafting materials and tools.
One of my favorite quick craft items is my Coluzzle Cutting System. This system is easy to use - and easy to store (not bulky) - you can easily slide it under the bed or even behind a dresser.
The Coluzzle Cutting System starter set is available online:

The Coluzzle system uses a sharp knife (definitely not kid-appropriate), a foam cutting pad and plastic shape stencils. You simply place a piece of paper on the foam cutting pad, place the Coluzzle shape stencil (available in many different formats) on top and then insert the knife and cut following the grooved stencil channel. Once you practice the technique just a couple times, it's quite easy to operate this cutting system. In our opinion, the Coluzzle Cutting System rates as a must have for anyone who enjoys paper crafts (whether scrapbooking, card-making or another paper craft).
Why choose a Coluzzle Cutting System - the Good Points:
- Portable and lightweight - perfect for a busy mom to carry around and store easily!
- Many accessory stencil shapes available - versatile for a variety of craft projects, you're only limited by your imagination. There are alphabets, tags, shapes - and much more.
- Inexpensive - the Coluzzle Cutting system is an effective way to create shapes, puzzles, die-cuts without the expense of adding a larger, more expensive cutting system. It's also affordable to add additional stencils as desired -- no need to upsize to add more to your system.
So, what's not good about the Coluzzle Cutting system?:
- Sharp blade - must keep out of little hands - the Coluzzle Cutting system uses a very sharp knife blade. I keep my Coluzzle flat on a high shelf in my closet.
- Must use scissors to finish cutting shapes out of paper - you need to use a pair of scissors to cut small tabs out of your paper when you're finished with the Coluzzle blade - not really a big deal to me, but I wanted to let you know just so you're aware.
Overall, we highly recommend the Coluzzle Cutting System for paper crafters. It's a low-cost cutting system that has many applications. We like the Coluzzle selections and the service at scrapbook.com. Here's their Coluzzle Starter Kit direct link. Happy Cutting!
